At the heart of archaic Sardinia.Today’s hike takes you through the stunning Lanaitho valley, to discover enigmatic Bronze Age settlements and explore the impressive limestone formation of the Supramonte. In this magnificient scenery, with a bit of luck it’s possible to spot the proud Muflone, a very rare mountain goat disguised under the shady oak forests or among the shining white limestone rocks.

The beauty of Orosei gulf.The Supramonte range dives straight into the impossibly blue sea of secluded coves. Our starting point is Cala Gonone, a laid back seaside village, paradise for outdoor lovers. We’ll discover by kayak the heavenly Cala Luna, where you can swim or just enjoy one of the world’s most beautiful beaches. The scenic Selvaggio Blu trail, Italy’s toughest trek, is stretched out along panoramic cliffs: a real must for hikers!

The Giants and Su Nuraxi.Sardinia is one of the oldest land of Europe which had some of the more mysterious civilizations of the Mediterranean: imposing megalithic towers, amazing sacred wells and huge stony giants from more than 3.000 years ago. Today we’ll guide you to discover this treasure of our culture. The day ends in the lively Cagliari in the very south of the island.

Let’s go to discover Cagliari! Casteddu in sardinian language, is named after “The Castle” its higher district. We start at the San Benedetto market, the bigger covered market of Italy. It's a bustling place, a temple of natural and local food. After the market we'll walk on the city centre and it's old districts, having the opportunity to do some shopping along the lively streets. The inhabitants of Cagliari love their city, which is a mediterranean secret jewel.DAY 6

Today we pedal from city centre to Molentargius Park, along the ancient salt works inhabited by thousands of Pink Flamingos and other many species of lagoon birds. The pink flamingos (called “Sa Genti Arrubia” by locals, which means “the red people”) nest and live in Sardinia all year round since more than 30 years, becoming a real symbol of the city. We’ll enjoy the Poetto beach, a seven km long sandy beach under the white Sella del Diavolo cliffs, admiring your last sunset in Sardinia. After this last 3 days, you won't leave Cagliari!DAY 7
