Benvenuti in Sardegna!
Your Sardinian cycling adventure begins at Olbia Airport, where we'll greet you and arrange a convenient shuttle transfer to your hotel in Cannigione. Upon check-in, you'll receive a comprehensive tour briefing about the itinerary and expectations. We'll then proceed to a bike fitting to ensure you're riding in optimal comfort and safety. Ready for your first Sardinian cycling ride? Mount your bike and go for a scenic ride through the Gallura countryside. Lush vegetation, granite formations, cork oak trees, and meticulously manicured Vermentino vineyards will fill your surroundings. Your journey will lead you to a "Nuraghe," one of the 7,000 extraordinary towers constructed by Sardinia's indigenous people over 3,500 years ago. You can opt to enhance your day with a wine tasting at one of the family-run wineries in northern Sardinia. Discover the refreshing Vermentino and the Cannonau, the progenitor of Grenaches worldwide. Back in Cannigione, discover this former fishing village now transformed into a tourist destination. Savor the flavors of Sardinia at one of the village's restaurants, indulge in refreshing ice cream, or browse the stalls at the market – all within easy walking distance of your hotel.DAY 2

Riding in La Maddalena and Caprera
After a 10-kilometer coastal ride, you'll arrive at the Palau harbor, where a leisurely 15-minute ferry ride will whisk you away to the captivating island of La Maddalena. A bridge connects this island to its sister island of Caprera, which holds a rich history as the home of Giuseppe Garibaldi, a revered hero of Italian unification. Your bike ride starts from the heart of La Maddalena, winding its way through the remnants of former military installations. A narrow bridge, accessible only to small fishing boats, will guide you to the Caprera wilderness, where you'll cycle on a scenic road through the unspoiled Mediterranean woodland. From the summit of a hill, you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of this Mediterranean paradise, nestled between Sardinia and Corsica. After traversing the bridge again, you'll follow the enchanting coastal road, completing an island loop. As you near your return ferry, indulge in a refreshing ice cream – the island's finest is just steps away from the harbor. The final leg of your journey will be along a backroad leading you back to Canniggione.DAY 3
