Rando del Cannonau 200km is the Sardinian classic event for all enthusiasts of long distance rides, as Randonné and Sportives. Taking place every spring, you’ll discover the best routes along the Cannonau terroir in Sardinia, challenging yourself through unique landscapes and enjoying our rich refreshment stations featuring local products. It’s not a race, but you have just 13 hours to cover 200 km of hilly countryside.
By completing the Rando del Cannonau, you’ll get the 200 km Brevet ARI/BRM.
The route passes through an incredible range of scenery around the Supramonte massif, it’s a majestic mountain loop starting and finishing in Dorgali. You’ll pedal the breathtaking climb of Genna Silana and the hairpins of Arcu S’Orostode, reaching the summit of the ride at Arcu Corr’e Boi pass (1.250 mt a.s.l.). You’ll cross the highest village of Sardinia, and pass through the vineyard of Mamoiada, before arriving at the colourful Murales of Orgosolo, and then down to the pretty villages of Oliena and Galtellì along the Cedrino valley.

A Permanent is like a brevet but you can arrange to ride it any time, not just on one specific date established by the organizer. Like brevets, routes can start and finish in the same location, but they can also run point-to-point, and can be any distance of 200km+ (100-199km for a Permanent Populaire). A Permanent may be ridden alone or with a group.
